ATTENTION CLASS OF 2019.......

STCC Instant Acceptance Day and HCC On-the-Spot Decision Day are coming soon!

An admissions representative from Springfield Technical Community College will be here in the Guidance Department on Tuesday, February 5th, beginning at 9:00 am for Instant Acceptance Day, and an admissions representative from Holyoke Community College will be here in the Guidance Department on Thursday, February 14th, beginning at 9:30 am for On-the-Spot Decision Day.  Members of the Class of 2019 who want to apply to either of these community colleges (or both) need to sign up in the Guidance Office for an appointment to meet with the admissions representatives.  Students must apply to HCC or STCC online prior to their appointment time.  There is no cost to the student, and they will be accepted instantly.  Official transcripts will be provided to the admissions representatives by the Guidance Department for those students who have signed up.  If there are any questions, please call the Guidance Department at 323-9351.

AP Exams

The AP exam dates are fast aproaching!  This year AP students may take any of the following AP exams:

AP U.S. Government and Politics - Monday, May 6 - 8:00 am

AP Physics 1 - Algebra Based - Tuesday, May 7 - 12:00 noon

AP English Literature and Composition - Wednesday, May 8 - 8:00 am

AP U.S. History - Friday, May 10 - 8:00 am

AP Computer Science Principles - Friday, May 10 - 12:00 noon

AP Biology - Monday, May 13 - 8:00 am

AP Calculus AB - Tuesday, May 14 - 8:00 am

The total cost per exam is $94. Students must register in the Guidance Office to take these exams by submitting a $60 deposit or the total payment of $94 for each test they plan to take. The final day to register is Friday, February 15, 2019. This is the firm date for registering and submitting the $60 deposit or total payment of $94.  The preferred method of payment is via a check made out to the "Town of Belchertown" but cash will also be accepted.  A receipt will be provided.   The balance of $34 per test is due by Friday, March 8, 2019. The March 8th date for the balance is also firm.

Scholarships

Scholarship information is now available in the Guidance Office.  Seniors should stop by the Guidance Office often to see what scholarship opportunities are available.

Many college/university and military representatives have scheduled visits to Belchertown High School to meet with students in the coming months.  Please see the complete list under the College/Military Visits tab.

NEED TRANSCRIPTS??

If you are a graduate of BHS/attended BHS
and you need a copy of your transcript,
you can either (1) call the BHS Guidance Department at
413-323-9351 or (2) email the Administrative
Assistant at ldrawec@belchertownps.org.

You must provide your name (clearly spelled),
your graduation year or years of attendance, the complete
address of where you would like your transcript sent,
and a telephone number where you can be reached
(in case further information is needed).
