For specific information regarding this process, please visit the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education website and click on Special Education.\u00a0 Below is a summary of the process and timeline:<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li aria-level=\"2\" dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\"><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><b id=\"docs-internal-guid-cab0eb3f-7fff-efa1-5630-886962c37332\">Consent to evaluate is sent to parents\/guardians<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"2\" dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\"><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><b id=\"docs-internal-guid-cab0eb3f-7fff-efa1-5630-886962c37332\">Evaluators set appointments to evaluate within 30 school days of receiving the signed consent\u00a0<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"2\" dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\"><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><b id=\"docs-internal-guid-cab0eb3f-7fff-efa1-5630-886962c37332\">Initial eligibility meeting is held within 45 school days to review results and determine eligibility for services.
