width: 242px;\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/old\/images\/documents\/district\/health\/images\/vision.png\" alt=\"\" \/><\/h5>\n<p>Before your child enters Kindergarten, a vision screening is done by their primary health care provider or personnel approved by the DPH and trained in vision screening techniques.<\/p>\n<p>This is done within 12 months prior to entering Kindergarten<\/p>\n<p>The acuity standard for children 4 years and older is 20\/30.<\/p>\n<p>There are 2 components of this visual screening:\u00a0 visual acuity and stereopsis.<\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<h5><strong>Hearing<\/strong>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0<img decoding=\"async\" style=\"height: 248px;
