Class of 2023 Local Scholarship Application
Local Scholarships are scholarships awarded to Belchertown High School graduating seniors by benefactors and groups from Belchertown and the surrounding areas or who have ties to Belchertown High School. Some local scholarships require that the Local Scholarship Application be attached to their forms. The Local Scholarship Application may also be required for some of the chosen scholarships (those scholarships chosen by a selection committee).

Horatio Alger Association Scholarships for High School Juniors (Class of 2024)
Horatio Alger Association Scholarships for high school juniors (Class of 2024) reward juniors who possess the character to succeed in life and believe in the American Dream. These scholarships help students overcome the financial barriers to pursue higher education. To qualify, juniors must have at least a 2.0 GPA and require critical financial assistance to attend college. The application deadline is March 15, 2023.

Transcript Request/Counselor’s Letter of Recommendation for Scholarships
To request a transcript and/or a counselor’s letter of recommendation for a scholarship application, click on the link below. You must be signed into your belchertownps.org account to access this Google form. The Counseling Office will be notified automatically when a new request form has been submitted.

DO TAKE A FEW MOMENTS AND APPLY FOR SCHOLARSHIPS WHICH YOU QUALIFY FOR. IT IS WORTH IT! EVERY DOLLAR COUNTS IN COLLEGE – EVEN IF THE SCHOLARSHIP ONLY COVERS THE COST OF ONE TEXTBOOK OR A FEW SCHOOL SUPPLIES.
