Belchertown Public Schools

Welcome to the Belchertown Public Schools' Web Site

Thank you for visiting our school district's web site. We are committed to ensuring that every child meets with success every day through rigorous curriculum design and high-quality instruction and assessment of learning to ensure that success, in a school environment that promotes respect and civility for all members of our learning community.

About Our Schools

Our school district is comprised of five schools: Cold Spring School (PK & K), Swift River Elementary School (grades 1-3), Chestnut Hill Community School (grades 4-6), Jabish Brook Middle School (grades 7-8), and Belchertown High School (grades 9-12). Approximately 2600 students attend our schools. We have much of which to be proud and continue to move forward in our quest to ensure our students are adequately prepared for the challenges of the twenty-first century and ready for college and career.

Whether you are looking for school lunch menus, checking your student's grades, or looking for the absentee call-in phone number for a particular school, you'll find it here.  If you have questions and you don't find answers here, please contact us.

About Our Community

If you would like to know more about our community and the resources we have to offer, please check the community tab above.

Jessica's Boundless Playground

The Belchertown Public Schools have taken on an ambitious project to build a playground that can be accessible to all persons regardless of age or ability, a "boundless playground." The Playground Committee is looking for community input on the plans for this wonderful space, to be located on property adjacent to the Chestnut Hill Community School. Please click on the link below to add your input to this process!
