Chestnut Hill Community School Summers Eats will not be available this year. First and foremost this is not a decision made by the Food Service Department, the District, or the School Committee. The decision is made by the state of Massachusetts according to the percentage of low income families in a town. Qualifying communities must fall into those percentages to operate a Summer Feeding site. At this time Belchertown does not have a high enough percentile to qualify. However there are communities in close proximity to Belchertown that offer programs that may be helpful for families. Thank you for your time and support.
