PSAT EXAM

The PSAT exam will be administered here at BHS on Thursday, October 12th, from 7:30-12:00 in the gymnasium.  Juniors and sophomores can begin registering to take the PSAT exam in the School Counseling Office beginning on Monday, September 11.  The final day to register is Friday, September 22.  The exam fee is $19.00 and must be paid by check only – No Cash Accepted.  The check must be made out to the “Town of Belchertown”.  A receipt will be provided at the time of registration.

CUMULATIVE FOLDERS

The Class of 2023 cumulative folders may be picked up in the Counseling Office from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm.  

 Cumulative folders contain school records such as report cards, MCAS test results, a copy of the student’s final transcript, and other information.  Some cumulative folders even include letters from graduates to themselves which were written back in 6th grade!

Financial Aid Night

Financial Aid Night was held on Monday, October 3, 2022, in the BHS Veterans’ Memorial Auditorium. A representative from MEFA (Massachusetts Educational Financing Authority) presented valuable information to students and families. Alumni Transcript Requests

If you are a graduate of BHS/attended BHS and you need a copy of your transcript, you can either email (preferred) the Administrative Assistant at ldrawec@belchertownps.org or call the BHS School Counseling Office at 413-323-9419 Extension 5200.

You must provide your name (clearly spelled), your graduation year or years of attendance, the complete address or an email of where you would like your transcript sent, and a telephone number where you can be reached (in case further information is needed).

Learner's Permit Documents

Documents required by the Registry of Motor Vehicles can be obtained by calling or emailing Ms. Drawec, the Administrative Assistant in the School Counseling Office. She can provide students with the necessary documents that are accepted by the RMV – Official Enrollment Verification Letter and Official Transcript. You may contact Ms. Drawec by phone at 413-323-9419 extension 5200 or by email at ldrawec@belchertownps.org. You will need to provide the student’s name, an email address where these documents can be sent, and a phone number in case there are any questions.

Work Permits

Work permits are issued in the Superintendent’s Office at the Belchertown Public Schools Central Office, 14 Maple Street, Belchertown. The hours are 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.
