2024 – 2025 Course Selection

 The online portal is closed.  Contact your school counselor if you have any questions or concerns regarding your course selections.  New this year, students are asked to select courses thoughtfully with the understanding that there will be no dropping of courses after Monday, June 24, 2024.  The only schedule changes that will be considered after June 24, 2024, are those necessary due to course failures, level misplacement, scheduling conflicts, or cancellation of courses.

College Information Seminar and Financial Aid Night Presentations

FINANCIAL AID NIGHT

Financial Aid Night was held on Monday, October 23, 2023, from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm in the BHS Veterans’ Memorial Auditorium.

A representative from MEFA (Massachusetts Educational Financing Authority) shared information on types & sources of financial aid, the application process, how financial aid decisions are made, paying for college, and free resources.  See the link below for information covered during the presentation.

Alumni Transcript Requests

If you are a graduate of BHS/attended BHS and you need a copy of your transcript, you can either email (preferred) the Administrative Assistant at ldrawec@belchertownps.org or call the BHS School Counseling Office at 413-323-9419 Extension 5200.

You must provide your name (clearly spelled), your graduation year or years of attendance, the complete address or an email of where you would like your transcript sent, and a telephone number where you can be reached (in case further information is needed).

Learner's Permit Documents

Documents required by the Registry of Motor Vehicles can be obtained by calling or emailing Ms. Drawec, the Administrative Assistant in the School Counseling Office. She can provide students with the necessary documents that are accepted by the RMV – Official Enrollment Verification Letter and Official Transcript. You may contact Ms. Drawec by phone at 413-323-9419 extension 5200 or by email at ldrawec@belchertownps.org. You will need to provide the student’s name, an email address where these documents can be sent, and a phone number in case there are any questions.

Work Permits

Work permits are issued in the Superintendent’s Office at the Belchertown Public Schools Central Office, 14 Maple Street, Belchertown. The hours are 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.
