Concert Choir serves as an introductory course for the beginning high school choral student. Students will be given an an introduction to proper vocal pedagogy. An emphasis will be placed on proper tone placement and breath support as well as the study of sight singing and music theory. The repertoire will chosen from contemporary, sacred, and secular genres. All performances are mandatory, and will be a significant part of the course grade. Students will be required to wear appropriate concert dress for performances.
