Dear JBMS 2024-2025 Grade 8 Students and Families-
I know you might be surprised to hear from the JBMS over the summer, but I wanted to reach out to Grade 8 students and families to offer a fundraising opportunity for students who might be interested in attending our annual Grade 8 trip to Washington DC! More information on the trip can be found on our school website here.
I have registered Jabish Brook Middle School to participate in the town-wide tag sale in August, and JBMS will be participating on Saturday, August 9th and Sunday, August 10th. All JBMS Staff and Students are invited to participate AT NO COST, and you may reserve one 8′ x 8′ space per person under the front canopy to hold a bake sale, craft sales, candy and drink sales, or tag sale items to raise money for the trip! JBMS Grade 8 students are not required to be registered for the trip, as raising money may be necessary for registration to be possible, but spaces are only available at this event for students at JBMS in Grade 8 for the 2024-2025 school year, as well as staff tables to support current school groups.
There are a limited number of spaces under the front canopy, and we will not be using the inside of the building for the event. The front lawn will be used weather permitting. Any furniture used, such as display tables will need to be provided by the participants. For more details, or to reserve a space, please contact the main office at 413-323-0433. Tag Sale items are already scheduled for sale to benefit the 2024-2025 Grade 8 DC trip general fund, the JBMS After-School Program, JBMS Student Activities, JBMS PTO as well as St. Jude Children’s Hospital and the Jimmy Fund at Dana Farber.
If you have personal items that you wish to donate toward these programs, collections will be taken at the school the week prior to the sale, August 5-9th. If you have any further questions, please contact us directly by phone or email! I hope everyone is having an enjoyable summer break! Expect school information to go out mid-August! See you soon!
