Costumes and Halloween attire are permissible, and festive attire is encouraged with the following restrictions for October 31st (Halloween).
Full body costumes that impede the regular school day such as inflatable costumes are a disruption to bus transportation and the classroom environment and CAN NOT be worn. Full cover face masks, gloves, etc. can not be worn during the school day. Toy weapons of any kind are not allowed.
Costumes are not to become a distraction in the classroom, cafeteria or hallway. Administration, faculty and staff reserve the right to direct students to remove attire for storage in the student locker until the end of the day if it causes a distraction or disruption to the educational process.
